# A Romantic Weekend in Bruges: Two Days for Two

Bruges was voted the most romantic city in Europe. Here's how to earn that title.

Bruges and romance go together like Belgium and beer — inevitably, and with good reason.

Day one: Start with coffee and pastries at a canal-side café. Walk through the Begijnhof, continue to Minnewater Lake. Afternoon: the Groeningemuseum then chocolate tasting at The Chocolate Line.

Day two: Rent bikes and ride to Damme. The canal path is flat and beautiful. Evening: Walk along the Rozenhoedkaai after dark. The city is empty. The canals glow.
