# Bruges with Children: Keeping Everyone Happy

A medieval city isn't an obvious family destination. But Bruges has more for kids than you'd think.

The Boudewijn Seapark has dolphins, seals, water slides. The canal boat tour is a hit with kids — 30 minutes is the perfect attention span.

The Choco-Story museum finishes with chocolate-making and tasting. The Frietmuseum ends with fries. Combine both for a morning.

For running around, the Koningin Astridpark has a playground and duck pond. The Christmas market is magical for children — ice skating, lights, and enough sugar to fuel a small rocket.
